What an amazing day! I love this day and always have throughout my career. It brings so many smiles, hugs and excitement for the year ahead. Everyone is taller, more teeth are missing and lots of new shoes!!
Edna Maguire is starting its first full year in our brand new school. NO more moving! YAY! We have 609 students and counting. More to love! No more construction, so we are set to go! :-))
Thank you to all the new families that joined me on Monday night this past week for the New Family Orientation. It was so nice to meet all of you and to let you know how welcome you are to our Edna Maguire Family.
This year, I have created an EdnaMaguireGram Bulletin Board in the library hallway where we will be placing a picture of all our families. Please bring a family picture into the office or send it to school with your child. It will stay up all year.
A giant thank you goes out to Stephanie Palmer and Simon Gilmore who are the PTA Co-Presidents this year. They transformed our www.ednamaguire.org website this year to be more current and up to date. Thru social media we can hashtag #ednamaguire and share with you all the things we are doing throughout our day. Having a glimpse into what is happening in our school day just makes life more fun….. because we are having fun learning really cool stuff!
To all the parents - THANK YOU! Thank you for entrusting us with your precious children whom I can promise will love their days at EM. We will take wonderful care of them during this next 9 months. Your unending support is appreciated!
